  • READ MORE ABOUT CAROLE

Upon entering the A/E/C Industry in 1983, Carole assumed the role of Business and Human Resource Manager for several leading design firms in Dallas. Through her direct roles within these firms, involvement with Society of Design Administration (SDA), and service on the American Institute of Architects (AIA) National Board of Directors, Carole built a reputation as a leader and established deep relationships with design professionals nationwide.

In 2001, Carole launched her own recruiting firm, Placement By Design, Inc. As a Placement Consultant, Carole has the opportunity to work with A/E/C industry professionals through career consulting and placement services, offering candidates the critical tools they need to market themselves more successfully in the future and to place them in firms where they are considered strategic staff contributors.

Today, leaders of A/E/C firms seek Carole's expertise to understand their firm's specific needs and to recruit top talent that best fit their needs. A thorough knowledge of job descriptions and responsibilities, paired with the dedication to find the "right fit" sets her apart from her competitors.

Carole is a Certified Member, and Past National President of SDA and currently an Emeritus Member. She received her National Honorary AIA membership in 2002 for her service to the Design Industry, where she served in an Affiliate Relations position on the AIA National Board of Directors for ten years.

Other recognition for service to the Industry includes:

    • SDA National Member of the Year
    • AIA Dallas Citation in recognition of outstanding achievement
    • Texas Society of Architects (TSA) Presidential Citation Award for outstanding contributions to the profession of architecture
